The Broadstairs Bandstand:
Right in the heart of Victoria Gardens, you can enjoy all that Broadstairs Bandstand has to offer. Boasting daily live music alongside delicious ice cream, the bandstand is the place to be if you enjoy a sense of community and a nice hot serving of vitamin D. Breath-taking views onto Viking Bay combined with live music from Richie Triangle, Abigail Cardwell, and Nick Kelly (to name just a few), create the perfect atmosphere for exciting days out this summer. The fun doesn’t stop when summer ends… live music from the bandstand will continue into the autumn with the Broadstairs Food Festival! From the 1st to the 3rd of October, we can expect a huge variety of locally sourced food and drinks in Victoria Gardens, with live entertainment at Broadstairs Bandstand, you can expect a real buzz.

Folk Week Fun:
We cannot wait for Folk Week this year! Running for 55 years, this festival is perfect for those who enjoy authentic folk music, and drawing together all who love the classic festival experience. With a line up including, George Hinchcliffe’s Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, Breabach, and The Young’uns you won’t want to miss out! Broadstairs comes alive during folk week, in addition to the bandstand and fantastic local pubs, this year we are welcoming the new Folk Week Festival Arena – the hub for live music this festival season. So be sure to come along from the 6th to the 13th August for live music every day!
Dreamland on your Doorstep:
Margate’s Dreamland, the iconic vintage theme park, have reopened with a bang! Dreamland Summer Social is the ultimate open-air venue this summer, transforming the famous amusement park into Margate’s biggest beer garden. Providing delicious street food, live music events, and live sports screenings. Here, you can experience the classic seaside atmosphere, and treat yourself to fish and chips whilst listening to your favourite bands, all in one place! Exploring everything that Dreamland has to offer is a must!

Sports Team – Friday 23rd July. This alternative rock band from London are always well received in Margate, making their coach trips down to the seaside town an annual tradition. With hits like Here’s The Thing, M5, and Margate, this is a gig you won’t want to miss. Book your tickets here.
Ocean Colour Scene – Saturday 24th July. Formed in Birmingham in 1989, Ocean Colour Scene have brought us hits such as The Day We Caught The Train, The Riverboat Song, and The Circle. Book your tickets for this must-see event here.
Billy Ocean – Sunday 22nd August. Billy Ocean, and special guest Rebecca Ferguson, are coming to Dreamland. Ocean, well known for his singles Love Really Hurts Without You, Caribbean Queen, and When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Gets Going, is expected to bring a fantastic performance to this lovely seaside town. Kaiser Chiefs – Sunday 5th September. The Kaiser Chiefs are coming to Margate! Formed in Leeds in 2000 they have brought us hits like, I Predict A Riot, Ruby, and Everyday I Love You Less And Less. We can’t wait to welcome them to Thanet. Book your tickets here!
